Greedy

£0.89

Professor Marcus Heighly is not a greedy man. But he will be.

When his precious particle accelerator does something quite unexpected to a small piece of lead, a whole world of possibilities explodes in front of his eyes. He is forced to take a long, hard look at his professional standards and his moral compass – and bury them both in the woods at midnight.

But idiots and morons – basically everyone who is not Marcus Heighly – seem determined to get in his way and it is surprising what depths people will stoop to for a little bit of metal. And the lengths they’ll go to.

From the halls of science to the corridors of power, from the trading floors of the City to the hills of Wales, if anything can go wrong, it will.

Reviews for Greedy

How not to get rich could well be the title of this amusing tale which demonstrates the way government and entrenched commercial institutions can manipulate the world. A good yarn, with much amusement

An arrogant scientist, stuffy bankers, a generously proportioned bureaucrat, and a charming but slightly felonious janitor are just the start as things begin to spiral out of control.
